It will take too much time to use
Yes, a proper marketing automation strategy does take a while to implement. First, you have to learn to use the software and it’s capabilities. Next, you need to decide what you want it to do for you. Then you have to understand how to execute. This can take a few months to get going. You just look everything over, ask questions, and the job gets done.

It’s too expensive
Yes, marketing automation software can be very expensive. But it depends on what software you are using. There are many leaders in the market that charge thousands per month, but those are meant for large businesses like AT&T or Barnes and Noble. Smaller businesses can find many less expensive alternatives like SharpSpring. If you research the different offerings you can find one that suits your budget. Marketing automation software can also reduce the need for a separate email service provider (like Mailchimp) and CRM (like Salesforce).

I don’t understand it
Like I mentioned a few paragraphs ago, it’s ok if you don’t understand it. There are support staff at these software companies that can help walk you through everything and show you how to perform certain tasks. When you have an agency doing the marketing automation for you, you can get everything put into laymen’s terms and not have to worry about the technical details that happen behind the scenes to implement your strategy.
