As a marketer, you know the power of Twitter. Unlike the walled garden of Facebook, where it is difficult to interact with people who don’t like your page, Twitter is open and full of opportunity to interact. It’s also a great place to find new things to read, see quotes, and learn what the big guys in the industry are up to and talking about.
Heading onto Twitter and just browsing for a few minutes can lead to you finding out tons of new information. I just scrolled through my feed last night and found out about Peach, and come to find it’s already dead within just a few days!
It’s a great resource for keeping in the know with the marketing world. It can be overwhelming though, so I want to help you find some marketing influencers to start following (plus a few non-marketing people). Once you grow your base, you can start adding some more people. It’s a good idea to keep your follow list small, otherwise you’re going to have an endless feed that never seems to stop.
