1. Utilize Insights

Insights are featured on every Facebook Page. It allows you to see who engages and likes your page and content. It separates engagement by your fans, people reached, people engaged, and check-ins. This allows you to craft content to fit your audience. Insights give you a look at:

– Age

– Sex

– City

– Country

– Language

2. There is no best time to post

That’s right! There is no universal, best time to post content to your Facebook Page. You may find articles that tell you there is, but it all depends on how your users behave. You can check your Insights page on Facebook to see the amount of reach and engagement your posts have and the determine the best time to post for you.

3. Keep it Brief

You don’t want to overwhelm your Facebook fans with long, drab text posts. It’s generally recommended to keep text between 100 and 250 characters. Keep long posts to a blog

4. Post on a Schedule

You don’t have to sit at your computer each day and write a Facebook post. You can schedule them to post on certain days in the future. It is a good idea to post regularly, giving your audience more chances to see your content and engage. You may want to come up with special days like Makeover Mondays if you are a spa or Tech Tip Tuesday if you are in computer repair.

5. Use Hashtags Strategically

Hashtags are no longer just for Twitter. Facebook allows you to use hashtags in posts and search them throughout the site. This can help you categorize your posts and raise awareness if you have a certain campaign.
