Have you heard about Facebook’s ‘myList’ app? Think of it as Pinterest’s less-popular competition. It has 6,800+ users per month, compared to Pinterests’ enormous 48.7 MILLION users per month! But just because it isn’t as hot as the pinning giant doesn’t necessarily mean you should ignore the potential behind the myList idea.
Basically, myList is a space where Facebook users can go to connect with others who share their interests. Whether your passion is home decorating, triathlons, or books on bugs, myList can suggest people, pages, and resources to help you explore to your heart’s content. It’s easy to select your interests, create lists, add new items to these lists, and share your lists with others. myList also has a handy feature that allows you to capture pictures and info directly from the web.
Here’s what you’ll see when you take the myList tour.
myList is easy to use and provides a lot of social interaction.
myList is a little less streamlined than Pinterest, and its predictably cluttered Facebook format means a lot more muddling through images and side bars, and a lot more rubbing up against other virtual users – not something that some people appreciate when all they want to do is grab content to save for later.
Give it a try. Either you’ll find it entertaining and maybe a little bit useful, or you’ll delete it a few minute after installing, and head back over to Pinterest to find another 5-minute ab workout or pictures of that exotic vacation spot you wish you were visiting right now instead of sitting at your computer reading this post.
Do you use myList? And if so, do you like it as much as Pinterest? We’d love to hear!
