Spruce Up Your Twitter Profile With a Header Image

Twitter has introduced a new option into its look: a header image. Yes, it is nearly exactly like Facebook and Google+ cover photos, and basically just as easy to set up. So do yourself a favor and give your profile a little extra oomf with a new background image.
Here’s how…
Click the ‘Me’ icon to get to your profile view. Select the ‘Edit Profile’ option on the top right, select ‘Design’ on the left hand tool bar, and scroll down to ‘Header.’ At this point if you are on a mobile device you will have the option either to take a photo or select one from your hard drive. If you are on a computer, you will be directed to choose an image to upload from your images library.
Max file size is 1252 x 626, and you can zoom in on the image if you want a cozier fit.
And that’s it! Click ‘save changes,’ and visit your profile again. You should see the new header image behind your profile image.
Give it a try, and post your Twitter URL below to share your new design with others! readers!
