HUNTINGTON, N.Y. – Rexer-Parkes, located at 35 Gerard Street on Long Island, is pleased to announce that Joseph’s Custom Clothiers will now have a location within their Huntington, N.Y. store as of October  1.
Rexer-Parkes has been serving the community for more than 30 years, specializing in an eclectic
mix of women’s casual and formal clothing from a variety of designers such as Diane vonFurstenberg, Milly, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Schumacher, Isabel Marant and Rachel Roy.
Joseph’s Custom Clothiers specializes in custom-made wardrobes for business leaders, executives and professional athletes. The custom clothier, based out of New York City, with stores in Midtown Manhattan, Long Island and Southwest Florida, offers gentlemen unique, top-quality business, casual and formalwear attire created with only the finest fabrics and the utmost attention to detail.
“I have admired Rexer-Parkes’ European collections and great service to clients for a number of years and thought it would be a great idea to create a partnership which enhances each other’s businesses,” said Joseph Wendt, President of Joseph’s Custom Clothiers.
According to Rexer-Parkes Owner Francine Rexer, “Joseph’s European-style business suits, casual and formalwear are a great complement to the designs we offer and the clients we serve at Rexer-Parkes.”
“We felt it was the right time to launch this venture, and now men and women can shop for each other in one location. We will draw on existing clientele and encourage new customers,” Rexer said.
The two owners plan to celebrate their new relationship on Wednesday, October 19, from 6-9 p.m. with a cocktail party featuring hors d’oeuvres from Crew Kitchen & Bar, cocktails and informal modeling.  The public is welcome to attend the event.
